    Default 1911 45 condition 1 hammer down

Might be of interest. 1911 keeps hammer down but in cocked and locked.

Some may see a benefit too it, however I don't really see how it could help prevent a snag on a draw in a CC. In fact, IMHO, with the hammer in the up position, this may cause more of a hazard of snags on clothing.

But again, that's just my opinion.

Ummm, are they promoting dropping the hammer with a loaded chamber?

Condition 1 on a 1911 is perfectly safe. That appears to be the silliest thing I have seen in quite some time.......

Fixes for things that aren't broken is one of the things that have been driving the gun accessory market for the past decade or more, especially the handgun field.

I don't see any advantage that would add to a 1911. I would however like to see one, because at the end of the video they say no fitting or gunsmithing required, I've never heard that about any 1911 part.

This must be one of those things for girly men and sheeple who are afraid of cocked hammers.
