    Default Neat lanyard alternative

I just ordered a few of these. A lanyard is essential if youre using a flashlight in conjunction with a handgun. I have lanyards on 90% of my lights but this seems to be a better alternative. The only downside I can see is your finger might get stuck in the light if an attacker decides to grab it while its in your hand. Gabe suarez teaches a smilar method using a grenade pin on a flashlight.

I came to the same conclusion about the downside when I first saw a *grenade pin* style ring as opposed to a conventional lanyard. Getting your finger stuck is not so much a problem as getting it broken or dislocated in a struggle or worse, someone using it as leverage against you.

I will say that a ring / pin is easier to use than a lanyard but getting injured if it goes H2H is worse IMHO.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this item after you get some time using it.

No problem. I'm going to fslflints house in a few weeks for some training, I'll let you know how it goes. If MarcS goes with us I can fill you in on the H2H part.
