What dealer has reasonable transfer fees?
I have been using Dell's for the longest time, but he is in process of moving and is not taking any more shipments. he used to charge $35 for transfer.
Who else has reasonable transfer fees for out of state transfers (shipped in to the dealer and then picked up by me)?
Here is what I have found so far:
Insite - $40 + 10% of the cost if they carry that firearm (?!?!?!?)
French Creek - $50 + $5 background fee
Anything even remotely reasonable out there?????

Re: What dealer has reasonable transfer fees?
FCO is now charging $50?? I thought it was nuts when I worked there and they were charging $40.
Seneca Arms charges $20, but that might have changed recently. My friend said that John is now charging $30.
I guess that people want to cash in on internet purchasing.
The Handgunner in Topton charges $15.

Re: What dealer has reasonable transfer fees?
Yeah, it seems the bigger the store, the more they ratcheted up the prices of transfers. They want to move their stuff primarily and obliterate any competition.
It's a shame, because I would be more likely to pick up accessories and browse their merchandise while I am there.
Thanks for the good info so far.

Dave Donley in Quakertown was doing $25 for the first and $20 each following (I think for the next year) as of October '08. http://gunrunner1000.com/ 215-529-6578
