    Default xd sub compact holster

I want to start ocing, but I need a good owb holster with retention. I was looking online at the blackhawk serpa level 2, but when I try to find the one I need it just says Springfield XD. Does anybody know if that is just for the full size XD, or will my sub compact 9mm fit?

It is my understanding that there is only one Serpa for the XD line. I am currently OCing my XD45 5" in a Serpa previously owned by someone with a 4" XD40, iirc.

It locks at the trigger housing, so it ought to work.

My serpa cqc has been used to carry the following XD's all which fit it perfectly. XD 9mm service, XD40 service, xd9 subcompact, XDm 9mm. I have thrown everything in there for the most part minus a XD tactical.

...And mine is a XD45 Tactical, so I guess the 'rumors' are true!

Just took my subcompact out of my Crossbreed Supertuck. And stuck it in the Serpa. Yep, works great. I got it for my full size XD. Never gave a thought to see if it would fit the Subcompact or not. IT DOES.

It does fit, but be advised that there will be "extra" holster extending well past the muzzle of the gun. I carry my subcompact XD40 in my SERPA with no problems. I do wish however it were cut to the size of the gun.
