Re: Walmart Ammo Thread
hehe, i hit between 2 and 6 walmart's depending on where i'm at for work...you need an act of god to find .45....40 smith used to be common but it all got sucked up suddenly...9mm comes in fairly steady, even if it is only a few boxes at a time...prices are:
9mm...BB (50) 8.97, WWB (50) 10.97 (100) 19.97, UMC (100 JHP) 23.97 (250) 48.97
40smith...BB (50) 12.97...forget the rest, i don't use it so i generally don't look
45acp...BB (50) 14.97, WWB (100) 29.97, UMC (100 JHP) 36.97
I'm a little iffy on the remington prices, if i remember i'll check tomorrow and write them all down...
and yes, some walmart employees do hide boxes for their friends (even though that is a fire-able offense)

Re: Walmart Ammo Thread
Here's a list I made in July 2008.
http://forum.pafoa.org/ammunition-re...tml#post398725
MOST of the prices seem to be the same/close.
I'd like to go and update the list, but it's harder to find the prices when there isn't any ammo on the shelves. too time consuming to stand there trying to read the little tag shelves right below where there should be a box of corresponding ammo.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: Walmart Ammo Thread
I have found the Holy Freaking Grail of ammo today. I found a SINGLE box of WWB 7.62x39mm. I haven't seen that caliber in Walmart since before Halloween. I was shocked.
I guess the Easton Walmart on 248 is still getting regular shipments of WWB in 9mm, .40 and some .45acp. Most if not all are the 100 round packs. They are getting BB but in limited quantities.

Re: Walmart Ammo Thread
My local W*M had one sad little box of WWB 7.62x39 for the longest time. I didn't really need it, and I can't just be bringing every orphaned box of ammo home, now, can I? Hopefully, it's gone to a good home where it will cheerfully be discharged in a righteous and wholesome manner at a deserving target.

Re: Walmart Ammo Thread
The more I think about your story, the more I wonder why East Norriton, KOP and West Norriton don't seem to have gotten any shipments in more than a month...its starting to piss me off, especially since Hatfield apparently gets shipments and is able to keep at least a little in stock...
