April 15th Tea Party

Is anyone attending a Tea Party on April 15th?

my father is out in harrisburg. do you kow of any in bucks or montgomery county?

No.. That is what I was trying to find out. It seems like most of these are happening in Philly, Allentown, and Harrisburg.

The one on the 15th is in downtown Philly. There is one on Saturday the 18th at Washington Crossing State Park. Info at http://www.tea4change.com/. I'm going to the Center City on and may go to this one too.

If I am going I am open carrying since I open carry most places that I go.

I feel that these tea parties are a great platform for us to be seen and heard. Will they change anything in Washington, no. However, they are a wake-up call and demonstrate our responsibility to get involved in our country's political future.

As for carrying at these events, I would caution against it. I believe that the tea parties are going to be portrayed negatively by the mainstream media. If we are open carrying, it will be used against us to send the wrong image.

This is my first post and don't want to sound preachy or infringe on anyone. But please, be aware that our liberties are at stake and the media is just waiting to pounce on anything that can be used against us.

I'll defintely be at the Washington Crossing one, OC, not sure if I'll be able to make one the 15th.

Edit: I will not be OC'n, forgot only CC permitted in State Parks.

I took the day off from work to attend the Tea Party in Philly. I plan on carrying but will not be OCing. I actually think I'll be carrying two with extra mags. I'm a little leary of the other side coming out to have an anti rally and things getting outta hand.(hoping not but the tinfoil hat is getting tight) I'll also be taking the train since I have no interest in trying to park downtown during the day in the middle of the week.
