sort of off-topic question ...
sorry, I know we're supposed to stick to firearms-related things on this forum, but I have a question that's quasi-gun related ...
I'm a new (or should I say a returning) Philly resident, and I was wondering if anyone here is involved with the Libertarian Party of Philadelphia. While I'm a member of the party at the state level, I was looking to get involved on a more local level, and thought some of you firearm supporters, who may or may not be Libertarian, either politically or philosophically, might be able to point me in the right direction. Sorry again for the off-topic inquiry, but I thought someone residing in this city may be able to help me out. Thanks!
Jon

Re: sort of off-topic question ...
Thanks, nextgenjewlz. I'll be sure to check out the site.
Out of curiosity, are you a member, or do you know any? I'm just looking to connect with other members in the area since I'm new to Philly. I'm going to be living in the Northern Liberties area. Thanx!

Re: sort of off-topic question ...
i am very libertarian, socially and fiscally, but I don't know anything about any formal group in Philly.
I do live in northern liberties though, if you ever want to grab a beer or whatnot. there are a few of us in northern liberties

Re: sort of off-topic question ...
sttaffy, thanks for reaching out. I, too, consider myself very libertarian, however I've never belonged to any sort of local group. I'm a member of the state party, (on paper, at least, not very active), but was thinking it might be nice to get involved locally. PM me if you ever want to try to meet up. apparently there is a Philly group that I checked out online yesterday, but it seems rather small. My girlfriend and I are in the process of moving to northern liberties, and should be settled in shortly.
