FULL PRICE FOR A GUN?
Many of you that have listed guns here, have recieved offers from me. So far I've bought a half dozen guns at PAFOA for slightly less than listed. Well now I'm getting mine for all those lowball offers. There is a rifle on gunbroker thats full price and I want it. The only gun I can think of that I've bought and didn't get some kind of discount was a S&W 640 when they first came out (don't tell allglock). The reason being I hand picked it from a group of 3 new ones. So now I'm looking for support from fellow gun owners, anyone else recently pay full retail for a gun..... Tell me I'm not going to be alone in this.

Re: FULL PRICE FOR A GUN?
I've paid more than normal retail (But less than MSRP) for a particularly coveted piece, simply because I only knew one gun store, didn't know a thing about ordering a firearm online, or shopping for a deal, and the store/range I went to had what I wanted, immediate gratification. Paid about 100 bucks more than I should have, and I've discovered down the road that what I covet is not necessarily worth the value that I give it. I probably wouldn't do it again, but if the object of your desire is something rare, hard to come by, or simply worth it to you, there's no harm in going for it.
Now if an NIB Walther P99 AS in .40 pops up somewhere near a future payday, I may be in danger of breaking my rule on cost. Not exactly a rare or coveted firearm, but it happens to be the object of my lust. I can never find one on payday, though.KnightZero - Zombie Killing Mercenary Watchman for hire. Will work for food.

It as an M1 Garand, I thought 1300.00 was quite a bit, but I bid. In the last 15 mins it went to 1800.00 +

Re: FULL PRICE FOR A GUN?
Before I started going to my current gunshop, there were some times I ended up paying MSRP or somewhat above for a piece I wanted. Now, I see prices even on here for used for more than I pay for new. Now if I'm going anywhere else, it's just window shopping. If I find something I really have to have, I can have it ordered for less than the other shop was asking.
