    I would love to put a Aimpoint Micro T-1 on my AK. But $550 for just the sight is a bit high for me. Heck, I only paid $600 for my MAK 90 with a mess load of goodies.

    What is a good sight in the $200 range... if there is such a thing?

    In responding as you have you've managed to miss the point completely. The comparison was entirely relevant and within the context of the thread ("tricking out" an AK) and since I own and have modified an AK I feel perfectly free to comment. Perhaps you should think about offering up something useful as well, instead of acting butt-hurt about the opinions of others, which can be taken or left like tomatoes at the market.
