Trout fishing and CCW
With trout season just around the corner ,I was wondering. When I'm out there how many other people are armed?

I have either my 45LC, my 38 snubby, or one of my derringers whenever I fish.

Ok, so how does one carry for easy drawing while wearing chest waders? You use waders with the little chest pocket and carry a pocket gun, or do you just OC with a shoulder holster with a Glock, XD, or other "can get wet" gun? Hmm thats a treat I'd like to see, some guy fishing, standing out in the water up to his waist, shoulder holster OC.
Yeah I actually was thinking about this a month or so ago, as I was wearing waders to check my traps and as I gazed northward at the PA/MD line, well... ya know.LOL, I am a woman...

Re: Trout fishing and CCW
Ive ran into quite a few shady people while out fishing in rural areas. Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert.

I am always armed so I will be fishing also, I dont wear chest waders though. I guess you could wear chest waders an shoulder holster, an cover it up with the fishing vest.

some fishing vest have rather large pockets. i can easily carry a full size glock in one. not quite the fast draw, but still able to carry easily.
