Short notice, but just heard on the teaser watching Glenn Beck that the following will address possible AWB bills by the Dems. Might just be the same re-hashed crap, but I will be watching none the less.

Just a short segment that mentioned 65 house democrats have sent letters stating opposition to Holder's support of new ban. Maybe just maybe the sky is not falling as fast.

You know, this would be encouraging if it weren't for the fact that these 65 Democrats didn't send the letter to Holder to express their opposition to gun control. They sent the letter in an effort to protect their jobs. Out of those 65, there might be 5 that really support the 2nd Amendment. All the rest are simply politicians doing what politicians do: ensuring their own re-election.

I guess I should be happy that it looks like an AWB is going to be very difficult, if not impossible, to pass in the House, right now. I'll try to keep a "glass half full" perspective, until something changes.

On a side note, if information is power, and power corrupts, doesn't that mean, via extrapolation, that information corrupts?
