Default corrosion on ammo, how safe?

I found a good deal on 800 rounds of Winchester FMG .45 ammo (233 grain) anyway the guy said that there is some light corrosion on some of the rounds. I requested a photo, but was wondering if i should worry about it at all, or if it will be fine to shoot...

What he ^ said, and how many is "some"?

If it's a good enough deal, and "some" (if they're too bad to shoot) is less than what would make it a "bad deal", I'd say go for it...

I mean if 750 rounds for that price is still a good deal, and less than 50 are bad, = still a good deal.

You could always pull the Bad / questionable ones, clean and reload them...

There are folks shooting WW II .45 ammo for grins and others that shoot various rifle calibers with ammo that old. Shoot one and inspect the casing for bulges cracks etc.

A little corrosion should ge safe. If it has pits in it, use caution. Wipe it with vinegar. If the corrosion comes off and you have clean brass, it should be good. Just use caution.
