FFL in Chadds Ford?
Hi there!
I know all about TargetMaster.
What I'm wondering is if anybody knows of another FFL dealer in the Chadds Ford area where I could complete an out-of-state transfer. I remember hearing something about a year ago of a guy around here that did transfers for a couple bucks.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Try Miller's on Chichester Avenue in Linwood, PA.

Chalmitch: Thanks for the info!
Unclesam099: I'm going to head over to Miller's this afternoon....I'll let you know what I find out. Also..I notice that you're in Kennett Square. Have you heard of the Southern Chester County Sportsman's and Fisherman's Association (www.sccsfa.org)? It's a private club that has pistol and rifle ranges, skeet, a lake to fish and boat (and let your dog fetch), and campgrounds and a clubhouse. Gotta say I was getting rather frustrated with the rude staff at Targetmaster (and their high ammo prices and "No WWB" policy). Just thought I'd point ya in a good direction.

Re: FFL in Chadds Ford?
Okay, so I just got back from Miller's Gun Shop in Linwood and I have to say that I was NOT impressed at all.
1. The lady behind the counter did not know about transfers at her store.
2. The owner said that he doesn't do out-of-state transfers because they are "too difficult." (It's great to see that the American can-do attitude is alive and well at Miller's Gun Store).
3. They have a very limited selection of supplies, and what they do have is covered in dust. I picked up some Hoppe's...thinking that I would buy some...and the bottle looked like it had been sitting there for at least a year! Also...one of the bottles had leaked onto the front....but obviously nobody saw a problem with this.
4. The owner was not very friendly across the board.
All and all, it was a waist of time going out there. Oh well....live and learn.

I think handgun were 35 and long arms 25. he is a nice guy. he moved,he has a new address I think it is off cypress street. he use to be on state street. He is on the right side down a hill very easy to pass and it is a one way so you have to turn around and try again. The guy to talk to is George.

PhillyGlock,
I'm surprised at the reception that you received there. Cheryl and Joe are great folks. They have been exceptional to me and with my two sons.

Lougotzz: Many thanks for the information. I'll go ahead and check it out.
Chalmitch: Hmm, it's certainly surprising that I got the reception that I did. Maybe I caught them on an off day. It's good to hear that you've had better experiences there.
