Skynyrd and Kid Rock summer tour

I think my wife and I would like to go this concert at the Pavilion in July. I am a big Skynyrd fan (back from the Ronnie Van Zandt days when I was in 6th grade). Kid Rock has a pretty eclectic style of rap, rock, blues, and metal. Plus, from what I've read he's a "gun guy." I never followed him much, but I checked some of his music out and it's not bad.

Anyone else planning to go to this concert?

Got any tour dates or other locations ???? My wife and I really wanted to go last summer to see their show at the E Center in Camden , but we just couldnt swing it . I 'd love a second chance to catch them . Always liked most of Kid Rocks stuff , and I have been a Skynyrd fan since I was a little kid growing up and my Dad used to play it . I even got to work on Ronnie's Cousins house down in Central Florida back when I lived there . Man was that cool talking with him .

Closest to Eastern Pa is up in Red bank area of NJ Monmouth County...July 8th.. Only 1.5 hours from me.. don't know why he is blowing off Philly and Camden locations!!

That's too bad they're not going to Philly. We saw Skynyrd with ZZ Top and also with Hank Jr. They're always great shows.

I would go, but I won't go see anyone at Post Gazette Pavillion.

I like his songs, but is he really a gun guy?

Don't they do Mr. Saturday Night Special? Like the music but I think they reference gathering up all of the guns before someone comes around wanting to shoot you or me.

Growing up I liked "What's Your Name?" (I think that is the title)

Skynyrd are heading back out on the road this summer with Kid Rock for a second round of their "Rock and Rebels" tour, reprising last summer's highly lucrative jaunt. The 22-date tour kicks off in West Palm beach, Fla. on June 26.

i saw Skynyrd and Hank Jr last year ,,, better show than i thought it would be, i would higly reccomend them. not a kid rock fan at all so no comment!
