Cool Got a call from the ins. co. today

Not sure if I mentioned this in another post but.....I found out that my ins.com has a limit on firearms as a result of theft..Only 2000.00 total..Hell that could be one gun! Anyway, I called and finally got a reply....216.00 a year for blanket coverage up to 8000.00 BUT...They want each gun apprasied and listed complete with serial number. And since the value of one rifle is in excess of 2000.00 then NOW that one needs underwriting...

NRA arms care plus ... 8000.00 blanket no numbers, no appraisals just a blanket of coverage for 151.00 a year and that includes my membership!

Been with Liberty for 10 years now and they have paid out twice once for a flood and once for a theft in another state. Both times were a breeze..

    Rates are good with Liberty

NRA I don't know,,,, I mean YES I know the NRA but would they give me a hassle in the event of theft...I just want my SH*T protected no matter what happens!

Hmmm.. My homeowners covers up to a heck of a lot more, they are all covered as a collection.

I tell you what though, getting that was a huge PITA. Once I asked about firearms, they started asking questions, and refused to sell me a polocy unless i agreed to keep ammo in a different room from the firarms. I told them hell no, this is PA, and I have a right to self defence. I also told them that I had a feeling this would cause me to move my 2 cars and 2 motorcycles over to a different company as well as the homeowners insurance. (that got a change in service real quick)

Ditto on the Collectibles Insurance recommendation.

I recently had their policy and found that it excluded guns primarily used for self-defense.

I contacted them and, upon their review, they agreed to change their policy as well as endorsing ALL existing policies. to cover self-defense guns.

They got my business. Never had a more cooperative insurance service.
