You can do it one of two ways. Either have the switch and light protected by the GFI or not protected to the GFI. I will tell you how to do it either way.

Bring a piece of 2 wire romex from the panel to the GFI. Another piece of 2 wire romex to the switch FROM the GFI and another piece of 2 wire romex FROM the Switch to the Light.

To Protect the switch and light, you connect the piece of romex going to the switch on the LOAD of the GFI, usually the bottom set of screws. Black wire goes to gold screw, white wire goes to silver screw. Bare wires get twisted together with pigtail coming off to go to the green screw on GFI. The romex coming in from the panel goes to the LINE (top set of screws), same as above.

If you don't want to protect it(which you are not required to do), you can twist the whites together with a white pigtail to go to the GFI on the line side silver screw and the black wires together with a black pigtail to go to the line side gold screw.

At the switch, you will have two sets of wires. The whites get twisted together and capped off with a wirenut(DO NOT HOOK TO SWITCH). The black wire from the GFI goes to one screw, the black wire going to the light goes to the other screw, the bare ground wires get twisted together witha pigtail to the green screw on the switch.

At the light, Black to Black on light, white to white on light, and green to ground for light.

Hot (black) to outlet, white (neutral) to outlet. White from outlet to light. Black from outlet to switch. Black from switch to light. Tie all grounds (bare wire) together. Be sure to also ground from GFI, in other words put a ground wire to both devices, light and GFI. If your pulling wires from the curcuit panel be sure to also tie in the grounds there. As previously stated, hot terminal on GFI is gold or brass, silver is neutral. Wirenut any wire to wire connections. BTW, be sure the curcuit is off at the panel otherwise you'll know the pleasure of electrical shock. Probably won't kill you but it'll surely let you know your alive. After a few dozen shocks you get used to it and it ain't so bad.
