    Question 1945 M44 Bolt

My question is when you break down the bolt for cleaning when you put it back together you want the firing pin to screw in all the way in till it stops correct? At this point the firing pin and the cocking piece should line up with the scratch on the back of the cocking piece.

And when you cock the rifle the firing pin should not turn when cocked?

    check this link out http://surplusrifle.com/finnishmosin...mbly/index.asp

I do not go by the scratch in the back of the bolt, the tool tells no lies.
