Thomas Paine, mad as heck!
What have we done to our nation?
Mail a bag of tea to you representative, let 'em know we mean business.

Re: Thomas Paine, mad as heck!
Nice job putting that vid together.
I spoke to my FFL this evening. He's a retired gentleman... he mentioned doing this."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Don't waste your time or money mailing a teabag to anywhere in gov't. With the anthrax and other scares, anything like that will never get delivered to the White House or Congress, and will simply be incinerated.

Re: Thomas Paine, mad as heck!
So why couldnt they be sent to the local office of the Representatives/Congress ?? The " dont waste your time " defeatist attitude is exactly how we got to this point in the first place !!! I seriously doubt the local office is going to be xraying packages . Not to mention a radio station in Atlanta ( I think ) sent something like 1500 bags of pork rinds to Chuckie Schumers office after his idiotic " The American People dont really mind all the pork " comment . And it WAS reported in the news that his office got them , so obviously that type of thing does get some sort of attention !!
Maybe a better , more striking idea would be to have all the tea bags collected and used to fill one of those tractor trailer length dump trailers ( you know , the kind with the open top ) and have them driven down to DC and emptied on the Mall or in the street in front of the Capitol or something .Last edited by son of the revolution; March 20th, 2009 at 12:32 AM.

That would be awesome. Someone should put a group buy for tea bags in the books.

I wasn't saying don't do anything, I was just pointing out this probably wouldn't be effective. Kinda like Congress doing stuff because "we had to do something". Don't just do SOMETHING do THE RIGHT THING.
Phone calls, letters, e-mails. Work together with people in your local community, etc.

I'm afraid that trying to sway our politicians back to reality would be for naught. Last I heard, China already has a majority ownership in America.
Great vid though."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." Thomas Jefferson
