    Default .30 remington reloading

    ok so i was searching for info on what the specs are for reloading 30 remington.. they just came out with the .30 remington AR but im assuming its different.. anyway i just went out and shot off 15 of my 40 rounds yesterday and since i cant find um online anywhere im trying to find the reloading specs...

    You can use .30-30 data. My Lyman 45th edition, circa 1970, has it listed in the obsolete section. I use 31 gr. of 3031 with a 150 grain bullet, works well for me. Max is 33 gr..
    Instead of me typing it all out-pick a powder:
    3031
    4895
    4064
    4320
    4350
    H380
    Then pick a bullet:
    110 jacketed
    150 "
    170 "

    I'll give you what data I have. hth

    awesome man.... thatnks for the info... so the dies are the same... same neck and shoulder? im very new to reloading so i get to start at the begining and knowing nothing...

    No, I must not have been clear. You will need .30 Remington dies. .30-30 dies won't work. The load data (powder carge with the same bullet weight) from the 30-30 will work with the .30 Rem.

    If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Good luck finding brass...

    yeah i just found out the neck are almost the same but the shoulder is completely different...

    anyway thanks for the help i really appreciate it..
