LTCF and the police

When the police run my license plate for a traffic stop will it show up that I have a LTCF?

This has been answered many times before. Although I'll forgive you because the search feature on this forum blows.

No, when checking a PA Registration or Driver's license, PENNDOT does not provide LCTF information with it. A separate inquiry needs to be made.

When I did my ride alongs with my friend. In NCIC, if they run your name there is a tab listed as "Gun Permit" if they click it, it will show up, but I forget what it says, I believe it just says your name, and the LTCF number. Other then that, they'll have to look for it.

no it won't and your not required to tell the officer either...but just be careful fumbling around for that insurance card b/c if and officer spots a gun you will be taken out by gunpoint
