2 things you can try 1. Teflon tape wraped fairly thick and replaced each outing. 2. A very thin O-Ring the Dia on the 1/2X28 threading and then tightened until your sure your can is well seated and aligned with the bore axis. Buy a bunch as the heat will take a toll on them and you should use a new one everytime you remove your can. If you can find the Silicon O-Rings the same size go with them.

If you have a Bi Loc adaptor you'll have to have to use a Ceramic Thread Adhesive * Good to 2100 Degrees to secure it or if you want to go El Cheapo Red Lock Tite.

Here is the company: Cotronics www.cotronics.com http://www.cotronics.com/vo/cotr/rm_threadlockers.htm
    Phone: 718 646-7996

Here is the product you want: Resbond 907TS Pricey at $23.95 for 4 Oz. But The Best.

CALL Gemtech, and speak with someone about it, Doc Dater himself might even talk to you, hes a good guy...and friendly.

dont use o-rings or tape, they can cause misalignment, and or baffle strikes if everything is not perfect.

call gemtech, tave them check the system you have out.

What he said. Call Gemtech. OR, you might want to try AR15.com, Arms & Tactics, Suppressor forum. If you ask there, there are several Gemtech people that will see it and respond. Including Dater.

FWIW gemtech is pretty helpful. They helped square away a wonky barrel threading problem I had and pulled my HALO out of the line up and shipped it off to my dealer a couple weeks before it was scheduled to ship. Nice folks.

thanks for the info guys. i'll have to call them. i sent them an email last week but never got a response. im just wondering if the typical thread on type is better than the two part system i have. it seems to work fine on my p22, just check it every other clip to see if its still on tight..
