I didn't even bother to read the article passed the first paragraph. The whole "50-50" chance being the basis for a news article is ridiculous to the extreme.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Actually that story was from the Times of London. It was simply a cross publish like most news organizations do. I would bet reuters and AP will have the same article.

I agree though that the whole manufactured crisis is absurd to the extreme.

Pretty much everything is "cross published" today. No original stories or reporters. That's one reason the Newspapers are gonna need "stimulus"

I love how the article is phrased to make you think like every scientist is agreeing with this 50-50 bullshit. There's only one scientists name even written in the article and I wonder what kind of dirt you could dig up on that guy.

Keeping in step with the topic of this thread, you'll love this, there are people in PENNSYLVANIA spreading these falsities.
They were going door to door this past summer trying to collect donations. I wonder who's funding them...

I may have been guilty of giving them some money one day last year. It was summer and this cute funky chick (sort of punked out and looking sort of dirty in a sexy way) came up to the house and immediately started playing with my dog. She knew he was a mastiff and wasn't afraid. I gave her $5. I figured she was cute and liked the dog. My wife just rolled her eyes when I told her why I gave the girl money.

The only reason that Al Gore and the dirt people continually scam people is because if it wasn't for this, Gore is a nobody.

Not to mention that he's made hundreds of millions of dollars, coming up with these BS ideas about carbon trading and it up to his eyeballs in venture capital. I no longer have any respect for the Nobel awards. He gets a friggin Nobel Peace Prize for doing a presentation...The co-awardee refused his award stating he would not be placed in the same company with Gore.

More and more scientists are getting on board the anti-global warming boat. There is a big meeting schedule in PA, I believe, to discuss this.

    Follow the money...

There needs to be protesters against this.

And if there was really only a 50-50 chance of "saving earth" don't you think we would be doing more to invest in the Space Program???? Or at least worry about the supposed 5,500 tonnes space junk that needs to constantly be cataloged so the shuttles don't run into it?
