Default Show of hands. Who got out on the bike today?

What a day to ride! The wind and sun hasn't felt that good on my face in months, and even after the sun went down it was still warm enough to keep on rolling with no particular place to go. Who else made it out today?

Not me. I needed my truck for errands today to pick up a couple larger items, and besides, my driveway (all 200 feet of it) is nothing but thick mud.

Nah, riding is fun but I met up with 5 of my buddies and we spent most of midday shooting before we stopped to have venison chilli and fresh rolls. The arsenal included 3 different ARs, .308, Garand, M1 Carbine, two SAIGA12's, 2 Mossbergs, SKS (with golf ball launcher), HKS, Tokarev, .357 Mag, CZ52, S&W M&P .40, Krinkov, a few other AKs, and some other stuff I can't recall right now. We were not at a formal range so we destroyed a lot of stuff and had a lot of fun. Everyone was behaving safely but having a ton of fun. I handed my 13yr old daughter the M1 Carbine and told her I would give her $5 if she could hit a clay that we set up at about 50yds out. I figured that since she was used to bench shooting, the standing part and the iron sights might make that a little tougher. HA! She shot 5 times and took out 4 clays. I was very impressed.

I have to say, if I had the choice between a long aimless cruise or a day like yours, I would of chose yours. Great way to enjoy a great day!

My wife and I pulled both cycles out of the garage today. We took both kids out for about an hour long ride today before going to evening church. It was funny the looks we got from people as the four of us came in each of us holding our helmet.
