Nice weapon. Had one just like it years back, probably one of the most accurate 1911's I've ever experienced.

Thanks! It's been absolutely fantastic thus far. I have a pair of G-10 grips in Starburst pattern on back order with WC currently. Foaming at the mouth for them to arrive

Thanks! By chance you aren't on another forum under the same name? Mustang? X5?

I have the same dang pistol. Nothing on it rattles....

Took it for the first time to the range at SCCS&FA (here's the link to the range:http://www.sccsfa.org/) the weekend before last and the first 8 offhand shots at 15 yds were 8 bullseyes. I won't bore anyone with the target although I indeed saved it, for you know how this gun shoots...

If times ever get tougher than they are now just give me a hollar when you're thinking about selling. Or if you can't figure out how to put it back together....

    Awesome pistol, fer sure.

Will do, although I don't think I'll be easily separated from her

Just put on the G10 Starburst grips from WC today and it looks and feels awesome. Also added 4 more 47Ds to my collection
