Default a slightly costly brain fart on my part...

so i went to the range the other day... had my 1911, XD45, 10/22, U22 and Rem700 .308...

decided to play with the 10/22 the most as i had a new stock and scope on it.

then over to the .308 for a few shots at the 500

then to the pistols for a bit of fun.

problem is i didnt check to see WHAT my 1911 was loaded with...

so, 8 shots later and i was out a few dollars of nice Hornady TAP HP's...

    oops.

now i dont have enough for both the 1911 and the XD and have to go buy a new box... but atleast i know it still cycles them... lol

That's why I run Federal HST. It's a GREAT SD round and it's cheap enough to practice with....

Not to be a wise guy but you should check feeding of your ammo that you carry on a regular basis. It would be much more expensive to have a feeding issue when you actually need it.
