    Thanks all, I appreciate everyones input. I picked up a new M&P9c this morning. The gun really fells really good in my hands especially with the extended finger guard (so does the SIG, but I think the M&P will be easier to conceal). I've rented and shot both at the range and it was a hard choice... I'll probably pick up the SIG next year.

    You did every thing right, rented both, got the one that felt right, now get some training and practice, practice, practice.

    Cleaned it up last night and then I put 100 rounds through it today...shoots like a dream. Yesterday I ordered a CT laser, should be here Tuesday. I really do like it. I still think later on down the line I'mm going to get the SIG 229 too.

    I would always go with the Sig. I wanted to get the p229.
