    Default Animated avatars

    I have a membership on another forum setup with similar software or whatever to this one. I have an animated avatar but cannot get it to work on this one. Is it something to do with the forum settings or is it just the picture I have chosen?

    check the size....

    "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller)."

    very few good animated gifs are that size.

    aren't animated images gifs to begin with? If I'm wrong, please correct me, but I've never seen an animated .jpg

    there are "animated" jpegs, but in reality its multiple jpegs placed in the exact same space to give the illusion of animation.

    It's a gif file. It's only 7.5k but it is 110x110 pixels and no way to shrink it down.

    I would like to put a animated avatar but it is 192 X 77 and 225 KB is there anyway I can use it? I cant make it smaller but really want it there.
