    if you have a P230, it is a .380 not 9mm. it should say something like 9mm Kurtz, which translates to 9mm short which inturn is .380 acp. i have the newer version of the P230, the P232 in .380. i carry one in the chamber in mine. nice thing about sig is they can't fire unless the trigger is fully pulled due to their 3 internal safeties and decock.

    Decockers are designed to facilitate safe carry +1. Beware that your 9mm 230 may not be chambered for the 9x19 Para that we normally call "9mm". AFAIK the 230 was never produced in that cartridge, only 9x17 (.380) and "9x18 police" (I'm not sure if that's 9x18 Makarov). I would call Sig to make sure you get the correct ammunition.
