No experiance myself with that one---that is very expensive. I'd look for a bobcat or coharie before id spend that much. Last i checked, the coharies were going for a little over 1k and bobcats anywhere from 1200-1900.

Forum member Ronnie77 is having an MP5 built by Investment Grade Firearms. I have no experience with them myself but from what I understand they are very high-quality and professionally built and finished firearms. It looks like these pistols are the same thing just already built and ready to sell. As Ronnie77 said in his post, its a 99% real German HK semi-auto MP5, in my opinion that price isn't too bad. (and its screaming to be SBR'd!)

regardless the build quality i think almost 2700 is to much for what it is. id go with a cohaire or bobcat and save a 1000 bucks. while the IMT may be a great pistol i'm not sure it's 1000 dollars more pistol than the 1500 cohaire or bobcat.

Do a search on "Special Weapons" for the origins of Cohaire or Bobcat Arms (same people).

HK's (not real available as many are now sear hosts) is the SP-89.

2,675$ is pricy but, If it is a quality gun made with all H&K parts less the receiver its still about 1500 to 2200 cheaper then a SP89. The whole purpose of buying this pistol is to SBR it. I did look at a few Cohaires and did see some bad reviews on them but nothing to major. I sent IGF an email inquiring about one, see if they mail me back.
