FFL Dealers
Hey guys,
Are there any good FFL dealers around here you'd recommend? My birthday is coming up and I think I'm going to treat myself to a new handgun (leaning towards the Beretta PX4 Storm), but I'm not familiar with any dealers in the area.
Thanks!
Matt

Re: FFL Dealers
I go to conklins in milesburg most of the time. he's kinda redneck-ish, but he'll order just about anything in, show you his price and your price will be 10% on top of that. not too bad. his hours are horrible though.... its kinda part part time

I would recommend J & E Guns in Bellefonte on High st. I've done a couple of transfers with them, good guys!

Re: FFL Dealers
There's a local FFL that sells from his house. Nice guy. Reasonably priced. I picked up two Bushmaster AR-15 lower receivers from him. If you want I can try and get you his contact info.
Havent' been in J&E, but I'll try and get out there to check it out. Hope its not the same guy that owned the place here in State College that closed down out by HiWay Pizza.

Re: FFL Dealers
Thanks for the suggestions so far guys. I'll probably give these places a call and see what they can do sometime soon.
Thanks. If you happen to come across his contact info, please do post it. If not, that's fine too. I'm still tossing around the idea, so I'm in no means ready to make a purchase today or tomorrow.
Thanks again,
Matt

RMC Sports out past Zion is an excellent place to deal with. Not a huge selection, but they have some handguns.
Also, Millers, down Rt 64 past Lamar has a very good selection of handguns and they're pretty good to deal with, particularly once you've been in a few times and they get to know you.

Re: FFL Dealers
I've purhcased 4 guns from J&E in Bellefonte and will probably buy some more. They are not the same people that had the shop by Hi-way Pizza.
They may not have the biggest selection but they are able to order stuff in, they also do transfers for $20. (they did mine when I got my Thompson )

They're right by the sheriff's office too. So you can go pick up your CCW permit and walk down the hill for your pistol.
