Re: OMG Now it's a GLOBAL New Deal
Writing in The Sunday Times today, Brown calls for “universal action to prevent the crisis spreading, to stimulate the global economy and to help reduce the severity and length of the global recession”.
Buncha dummies. At least when Obama fucks our country up, we may be able to move somewhere else. Now with global coordination, the whole world will be an undesirable place to live.

Re: OMG Now it's a GLOBAL New Deal
Governments do NOT wish to fix the economy,
Governments do NOT wish to ban guns,
Governments do NOT wish to raise taxes,
Governments do NOT wish to lower taxes,
Governments do NOT wish to establish new laws to solve problems,
Governments do NOT... ad infinitum, ad nauseum...
Governments only do whatever they can get away with for the acquisition of more and more power.
The best way to do this is to control as many people, and as much of the money as they can.
Realize this, then watch what they are doing. It will all become clear, I promise you. While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

If government control could eliminate or pull us out of recessions, we would never have them!
Less government = good!
More government = more problems

Because it's not their money that is getting spent. It is an unfathomable sum that comes from a whole lotta someone else's. If I took a nickel from you and everyone in your town that's not a lot to you personally, but depending on the size of your town I could buy anything from a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant for my family and I, or I could buy a new car or pay off my mortgage. And that's if I were to use the money in a respsponsible manner. What the government is doing, is the equivalent of renting a 10k per hour hooker to spend the next 9 years to sort M&M's by color.

Fucking A!
I am almost too tired to keep fighting the good fight here in these United States.
Who is going to fight this in the rest of the world? I realize we are the worlds last best hope, but is there really any left?

Re: OMG Now it's a GLOBAL New Deal
You can not convince me this recession was not engineered by the democratic party.
Since winning control of congress in 2004, they have also controlled the finance committees, which control the spending and regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
They rebuffed all attempts by the republicans to tighten lending standards and ignored all warnings of a financial collapse.
I honestly believe they have sacrificed the economy of the nation to gain political power. In doing so, they have created a world wide financial melt down.
With the economic crisis, the democrats will find it much easier to press their socialist agendas. After all,
"You never want a serious crisis to go to waste," Rahm Emanuel, Mr. Obama's new chief of staff, told a Wall Street Journal conference of top corporate chief executives this week.
Since being elected, President O'Hole has not reinforced one freedom. All I hear and read coming from his office is bans, restrictions and more taxes.
There is an old proverb, "People deserve the government they get". We are not finished "getting" it.
