    Default Shooting Glasses question

I am looking for a good pair of shooting glasses. Every pair I have has a slight amount of distortion in the lens,it is not alot but it gets to be distracting. If I wear them long enough they will also give me a headache.

What has everyone found to deal with this? I want to get a good pair that do not have the lens distortion.

    Thanks
    Steve

I like the Smith & Wesson Magnum safety glasses. They are comfortable after adjusting the temples, and I haven't noticed any distortion. I wear them 40+ hours a week, plus some on the weekends.

I got them from Omark Safety

Go to the Eye specialist, try glasses till you find the exact ones you like, then tell them you want this exact pair.

Display glasses are completely neurtal and often sold as is when the display is over with, every 3 or 4 months, they change styles and get a new display.

Are those lenses glass or plastic? I'd hate to be wearing my own shrapnel for when something smacks into them.

Good question. I have to where glasses just to see and the normal shooting glasses don't fit. I have impact resistant lens. I still use over over size protective glasses. Thay are not very comfortable, but better safe.

From what I understand, they are neutral safety glass material. Think of it, people drop them every day, handle them every day, and they stay looking new.

Honestly, I doubt the display lenses are polycarbonate("safety")lenses.
I just got new glasses, and there was a good difference in price to get the poly lenses over the standard plastic.
It couldn't hurt to ask though.

I'm looking to get a pair of prescription shooting glasses in a few months.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
