OC Retention????

This is not a CC vs OC question - and I don't want it to become one.

To all of the advocates for OC - do you use a holster with some degree of retention?

If so - please describe what type.

If not, why and how do you justify your choice?

I only OC when in uniform and I use duty holsters with Level 2 retention.

when I had the XD, I carried it in a Serpa level 2....I'm looking at a Bianchi carrylok I think it is for the CZ...dunno what I'm going to get for my M&P.

Aggravates me to no end. They make one for the Taurus Fudge, but not for the far more common Taurus 85.

Anyway, thumbstrap or thong retention if OC. However I would rather see an OCer with an open top PoS holster who has taken some hand to hand retention training, than one with a level 3 retention holster but no training.
