I just have to say how incredibly humbled and proud I am
I know Im a noob to this fine group , and I dont want to sound all " wishy washy " or anything . But after weeks of non stop reading ( currently page 154 of PA Patriots saga ) I have to say how humble and proud I am to have been welcomed into the fold of you incredible patriots . After 20 years of shooting and studying the 2A , all of its related issues , and seeing this great Nation slowly sliding down the rabbit hole of socialism and mandated victimhood , I had begun to feel like the " lone voice " desperately begging anyone with a brain and willingness to learn to see what was happening .
On a much smaller scale , and in the privacy of my own property , I also experienced official oppression at the hands of an uneducated and power hungry LEO , including being removed from my home at gun point and threatened with being charged with criminal statutes that could never be applied to the situation at hand. Of course , seeing that Im currently a prisoner of the Peoples Socialist Republic Of NJ , I wasnt really surprised .
For three years (2003 to 2006 ) we lived in Central Florida , and I thought I had found my firearms and freedom loving nirvana . Shall Issue CCW , evil black rifles for all , warm weather , no State Income Tax , No State MV inspection , and a generally much less adversarial attitude from the local LEO's .
Now I realize that my true home was much closer then I ever realized , and where I really should have gone to begin with . While I will still be fighting with every effort to reverse and educate people about the ridiculous gun laws in NJ , my family and I are actively planning our next and final escape from official oppression and mandated victimhood , and we will be making a new and permanent home in a State and with a group of people who clearly understand the Founders Ideals , practice them , and refuse to let them die.
I am honored to be part of this organization , eagerly anticipate whatever contributions I can offer , and truly hope to share your company in person , with as many as possible in the near future .

Re: I just have to say how incredibly humbled and proud I am
I saw the writing on the wall when I was a young pup some 29 years ago. After getting out of the military and movng back to N.J., I realized I'd better get out now before it was too late. I first moved to that great state of liberty - Vermont, USA. Stayed there for 12 years and only moved because my wonderful wife was from the midwest. I was happy to move here to PA a few years ago because I knew my gun rights would be greatly respected. Like you I have enjoyed the brotherhood of those here at PAFOA. Good luck to you in getting out of the PRNJ. We'll keep the light on for ya!
