Renewed LTCF, A+ for YCS

The wife and I stopped down at the York Country Sheriffs office to submit our LTCF applications we had printed off the net and filled out the night before. Our old LTCF's from Cumberland County had expired, so it wasnt technically a renewal since we are in a a different county now, nevertheless the York County Sheriff's office has their act together in processing the applications.

The office was packed when we arrived and we were told that there was 2 people ahead of us waiting for PICS which was slow today we were told. The gentleman said if we could wait 10-15 minutes, he could process ours if we wanted to wait. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that since we were expecting to just drop them off and have to come back a few weeks later as we have done in the past.

While we were waiting, 5 more people came in to either renew or apply for a new LTCF. In all, we spent 20 minutes there, had a positive experience, and appreciated the good effort that the man doing the processing was giving. I'll be writing up a letter to the Sheriff tonight thanking him and his staff for the efficient manner in which we were served today.

My wife and I had the same level of service last month. York County Sheriff's Office is really providing some great customer service, especially considering the very high volume of applications they are processing.

My wife and I just got ours renewed. YCS did a great job! They were fast and pleasant to deal with.
