Winchester WildCat 22LR Assembly

Hi There,

I'm a complete nube in guns. I just got a new Winchester wildcat 22LR.

It came in a box with all the part in plastic bags.

I cleaned it and tried to assemble the bolt.
i cannot insert the bolt in. If i remove the washer it goes in but other than this i cannot insert it. i cannot find any assembly instructions anywhere on the net. nor i can find pictures on the subject.

Can any one help please?

First....welcome to the PAFOA!

On the Winchester website they have the manual....you have to right click and download/save to your computer...good time to print it out also.

The manual has the details for the bold dis-assembly and re-assembly for cleaning and maintenance.

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the reply.

I actually found that all i really needed, and didn't expect, was to twist really hard the cap at the end of the bolt. The instruction said "twist" what they should have said is TWIST HARD

.

Now all i have to do is wait for a nice day and i can go and sight the gun and start having fun with my son.
