Arisaka 99 magazine
Does anyone know where I could pick up one of these? I have the 99 my dad brought back from IJ (with bayonet YAY) but no mag.
I've searched the web and the one place I found that had them listed is sold out."If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom ... go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels nor arms. May your chains set lightly upon you and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." Samuel Adams

Did you try Gunbroker? People sell mags there often.

Looks like Numrich has the magazine box but not the follower and spring. One out of three ain't bad.

A spring can probably be fabricated or modified from a relatively cheap and available Mauser type...."Disperse you Rebels! Damn you! Throw down your Arms and Disperse!" British Major Pitcairn at Lexington April 19, 1775

Well....looks like Popperts right here in PA has everything you need...
http://www.poppertsgunparts.com/
Click on "parts" scroll down to japanese rifles....brings up the whole list of parts....looks like they have all you need and the prices aren't to bad.
I haven't ordered anything from them myself so I don't have an idea on service.Last edited by 762xIan; February 23rd, 2009 at 12:46 AM.

Re: Arisaka 99 magazine
Thanks all. Been much of a help. Hopefully I'll have it working within the week.
