    Cool paper work for black powder revolvers?

    Hello everyone just wanted to know if I wanted to sell my black powder ball & cap revolvers do I have go through a FFL or if I can sell them FTF as I would a shotgun or rifle? Thanks

    Black powder handguns don't need anything special done with them when selling, just like a rifle or shotgun. However, you still need to understand that a prohibited person can't even buy a black powder gun. Just take the typical precautions that you would take when selling a long gun FTF.

    Thats interesting b/c my little brother (15 at the time) purchased a black powder revolver from cabela's last year by himself.
    I don't see any mechanisms to prevent prohibited persons from obtaining these guns? Yeah, when they get caught they may get into trouble, but that is about the only way I can see that the state is enforcing this.
