Re: Tea Party on Wall Street!!!
Did you catch Rush playing Mayor Bloomberg's comments. Bloomberg said 40,000 New Yorkers pay 50% of the taxes in NYC. Guys there are 8.1 Million residents in NYC.
So 1/2 percent of the population is paying 50% of the bills. Now the rejects in the city Government are looking at putting a new wealth tax on those individuals.
Rush is right 20,000 of those 40,000 should move out of the city as soon as possible.Last edited by ALS; February 19th, 2009 at 02:20 PM.

Re: Tea Party on Wall Street!!!
I think we're going to see a lot more of this, because it's hitting the tipping point now. People are REALLY getting angry at these bailouts and the poor economy and all the doom & gloom around the news. The greedy hands reaching out to take whatever they can are starting to get on the people who aren't getting anything because they're responsible, so that is getting people worked up too.
And, if those 40k people paying 50% of the taxes for the 8.1 MILLION other residents aren't incensed enough to move, then they're getting exactly what they deserve and I say raise the rate to 95% to piss them off into action.
OF course, them being in NYC they're probably on their knees doing a seal impression for every big-name liberal that comes to town anyway, so I doubt even that would do anything.

I agree that the mood seems to be changing and a tipping point is not too far off.
Now, We can all sit back and watch the pending mayhem. Should be fun!
