    "No journalists were at the 15-minute encounter and the Vatican and the speaker's offices have not released any photos. However, according to their statements it appears the pope and the politician attended two different get-togethers."
    This is just strange. Saturday Night Live could not write a more bizarre encounter. The Pope must have had to burn his robes and take a long hot shower after talking with this woman. Why he agreed to an audience is beyond comprehension.

    Perhaps she assured him that abortions among the gay population in San Fransisco are well below the national average.

    hmmm... I wonder if there where swirling dark clouds and lighting over Vatican City? Sounds like round one of the the Good Vs Evil final battle.
