Default "GUNS Magazine" Online Edition is now Free

for anyone who likes online gun magazines:

FMG Announces Free GUNS Online Edition

In a move to stimulate the shooting sports and create added value for advertisers, FMG Publications has made GUNS Magazine free to 1,463,632,361* Internet users.

GUNS Magazine is now available at no charge to anyone with access to an Internet connection by visiting www.gunsmagazine.com. The new interactive digital edition of GUNS Magazine uses the latest dynamic flash, flip-page technology to create a real-time, page-turning, online magazine viewing experience. Embedded links in featured products and advertisements allow visitors easy, single-click access to manufacturer Web sites. The April 2009 digital edition also includes embedded video files that provide a glimpse of the multimedia enhancements viewers can expect in future editions.

"Why should the government get to have all the fun," said publisher Roy Huntington, as he announced the latest offering from FMG Publications. "We want to stimulate the shooting sports economy by introducing GUNS Magazine to the world. We have an incredible group of Americans who write for each of our titles. Sharing their firearms skill, knowledge and enjoyment of the shooting sports will provide more incentive for consumer involvement and hopefully, spending."

GUNS Magazine is the third FMG Publication to make the jump into cyberspace, joining business title Shooting Industry magazine and trade publication American COP in the digital arena. The bonus Internet circulation created by the digital editions is provided to current advertisers for free as an added value incentive package.

"With the click of a computer mouse, over one billion potential readers have access to GUNS Magazine," continued Huntington. "We're very excited about the possibilities of this technology, and are pleased to be leading the way."

FMG Publications also includes American Handgunner, six annual Special Editions and the Thunder Ranch video training series. For more information, visit www.fmgpublications.com.
