Re: Pressure wave from a .50 BMG
That looks like my rifle!
I can attest that the blast will knock boxes off the shooting bench if they are within 2 ft.

Re: Pressure wave from a .50 BMG
I can't tell if he destroyed the bed liner or if it just popped out...
but I think he is looking at more then 100.00 to replace that tail light :PThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Pressure wave from a .50 BMG
The muzzle blast and ungratefull idiots has also been the best combination for me at the local SGL 127.
Last summer I had a guy sitting at the next bench spotting for a buddy the next bench over. I told him that if he didn't mind I was going to put a couple 50's down range at 200yrds. His coment was "SO, what do I care" I set up my Barret and before dropping a round in the chamber I warned him again and his reply was a simple "BFD" So I just shrugged my shoulders and left it rip. The pressure wave cleared his targets, ammo, spotting scope cover etc etc of the bench!! LOL!! then he responding with a HOLLY HELL!! HOW THE HELL CAN ANYBODY ELSE SHOOT WHILE YOUR SHOOTING THAT THING!!! All I said was "you were warned"

it's also why you make sure you are nowhere near the side of a tank's main gun.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

Re: Pressure wave from a .50 BMG
heh...thats a Serbu BFG50, like mine. what a dumbass.
I can attest that the muzzle blast removed a 1/2gal of iced Tea off a adjoining bench at french Creek SGL
also, I warned a guy that sat down to watch NOT to sit at the next table, he refused all warnings, and did it anyway.
After about a minute of arguing, i said screw it, warned one last time, then pulled the trigger.
after his, hat, hearing protection, $300 prescription sunglasses and other items left his person(glasses broke), he tried to get mad at me...but other spectators told him to grab a frosty mug of STFU.
i love letting kids shoot it, i let em keep the brass."Oderint Dum Metuant" - BMFH
