Hey A-5 We returned home from the Fl Keys-----Landed a day ago.

Took the .204 out this afternoon (see pic)-----Looks like I yanked it. Tried to stick the 32 grainer in the ear.

I just have to stop being greedy !!!!! That .204 is so blinkin' fast, my yank jobs don't seem to bother it that much.

Glad you returned safely from FL, the chuck's should be shaking in their holes as we speak.

I have used a .22 LR for closer range and a .223 for more distance.

I have a .22-250 to try.

I don't know much about the .204 cartridge.

Short story time:

A friend of ours is 74 YOA.
He said when they were kids they would chase the groundhogs across the field.
The hog would run down the hole.
They would run up to the hole and stand there pointing their .22s at the hole.
He said due to their curiosity, within moments they would pop their heads up to see if the coast was clear.
Then they would pop them off.
My comment to him was I believe from Dirty Harry - "Your a real class act!!"
Kids growing up on farms in the 40s and 50s.

Have fun hunting.

I would also love to try coyote hunting.
