Default Smith & Wesson M9 Bayonet

Anyone own a S&W M9 Bayonet? I think I want to pick one up, but I'd like a few opinions on it first. I don't want to spend $100 plus on an original Ontario Knife M9, so this is a tempting option.

What about a KA-Bar? I found one for 55 bucks on the interwebs?

    Ka-Bar Bayonet? I'd be interested...

I think Lambo was selling regular Ka-Bar's here for $50 at one point.

Personally, I think it is gaudy looking. I prefer the Ontario.
If you are looking $50 range look at K-Bars.
If $30 look at Glock Field knife.

I was looking at these for my 590A1 until I found out their made in china and may not even be a S&W product.

S&W doesn't make ANY of thier knives. Most if not all are made by Taylor Cutlery and I'd bet this one is also. The S&W tactical lights that are showing up on the internet and at gun shows are also just a licensed product and made in china. The only thing that Smith really makes is firearms and thier AR's are an exception to that line.

In MHO spend the extra money and get an Ontario or Lan-Cay or if you are just looking for a top quality fighting/utility knife and not just a rifle hung pig sticker then find and buy an original BUCK 184. I have the Buck and I have had quite a few Buck collectors bitch at me for useing it but what the hell, it IS just a tool.
