    Default Upcoming S&W M&P Rebate...

Just in case anyone is planning to pick up a new S&W M&P soon (like me ), here's the info for the upcoming rebate...

And here's the link to the coupon on S&W's web site:
    http://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore...dUp_Coupon.pdf

The rebate information isn't posted on the front page of S&W's site yet, but it is posted in a publicly accessible area

A friend of mine just got his two mags last week for a gun he bought in October. I got my gun at the same time but got my mags much sooner. I hope they keep up this time.

    No, 2 is never enough.

All one has to do is take a look in my pistol case, and it's easy to see that I enjoy collecting them all, be it one brand or another

Deciding what to get next has been a long process. First I was going to get the Spec-Ops, then I wanted the Limited Edition IDPA Indoor Championship Model, then I got turned on to the Limited Edition pistol-training.com gun.

I talked myself out of those models for one reason or another, so right now I'm planning on getting the Julie Goloski Champion Series full size 9. It comes with the Warren Tactical rear sights and a FO front sight, plus the pink grip inserts. I was quoted an out the door price that is considerably less than what I've seen them selling for, but it's on back order, so I'll just have to wait a bit for it to come in.

The warren tactical sights are nice. A definate improvement over the stock novaks.

I kind of regret not getting the dawson precision sights though.

I like the waren, but the rear sight is.... well, different. It's nice, but it takes a bit of getting used to.

FO front is nice and bright at the range though.

    Plus it's pink

I really like the Hi-Viz front with the 10-8 Performance rear sight. My times dropped quite a bit in IDPA shooting using these sights.

Dealers were told a few months ago that there were no rebates on the M&P in the near future. This rebate is a quickie and ends around tax time....hmmmm.

I would jump on this rebate if I was in the market for a M&P. I dont see another rebate until Nov-Dec 2009.

I was / am thinking of adding a Pro to my M&P collection. The problem is that my 9C shoots as well if not better than my full size. I hate the thought of buying a Pro and setting it up for Plate shooting only to find out that the 9C will outshoot it.

    Ahh, what the hell...

I shot my glock 26 in an IDPA match on Sat. and my M&P pro in an IDPA match on Sunday. While the 26 shot accurate and all, when speed comes into play the pro is a beast of a gun and quite accurate. All i have to do is put the little green dot on the target and press. Just get one!

As far as I know S&W only has plans for the M&P handgun rebate right now. I don't think revolvers were included in any of the rebates last year, just the M&P rifles and handguns, but they generally run 2 or 3 rebates a year so it could happen.

If you think the Warren Tactical sights are different, then take a look at the Warren night sights that are coming on the pistol-training.com gun:

I don't think I could ever get used to the sight picture, so that's the reason why I'm not on the list for 1 of the 250 guns that are being made.

The pink grip inserts on the JG are a nice bonus and yes, I will be totally rocking the pink grips at the group shoots
