    Default H&R 9 shot single action Sportsman

    I have a SA 9 shot H&R Sportsman ser.# s139xx. It has a bad hammer. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Is it possible to convert the SA to a double action. The parts are available for the DA. Or does anyone have a SA they want to sell? The SA is in beautiful condition except for the hammer. Or does anyone know anyone that repairs these guns? Any help would be appreciated. I would think they used the same frame because there weren't many SA made according to all the info I've been able to gather.

    What model number is that Sportsman? Example: 199, 999, 926, 935, 666, 650 etc..

    I might be able to find you a hammer over the course of the weekend.
