I was wondering how many people on here belong to the NRA. Maybe we should have a poll.

2. Those that used to belong.
3. Those that have been thinking of joining.
4. Those that would never join.
5. Those that have joined since the election results.G19/G23/ G26/G27/Walther P22/NAA 22LR /2 Ruger LCP/Taurus 24/7OSS/Mosbrg. 715T

Re: NRA Membership
How about, "Those who have joined but are letting his/her membership expire"?
Safety is a good tool for tyrants; no one can be against safety.

Re: NRA Membership
I got pissed off years ago when it seemed like they spent every dollar of my dues in postage trying to get me to donate more money and I quit. I am going to join back up shortly though, I just need to pay off one credit card bill first. I may not believe in all their policies but we may not even have legal firearm ownership in this country if the NRA didn't exist.

Re: NRA Membership
So far I'm the only one who would never join. While I value my right to own firearms just as much as everyone else here, sometimes I just do not agree with the politics of the NRA. I appreciate what the NRA does for gun owners however they are just too political for me.

Re: NRA Membership
I joined the day after I bought a gun but am still waiting on my subscription and confirmation even though they cashed my check.

Re: NRA Membership
I joined recently because of the duffel bag incentive... which, if I don't have in my hot little hands within the next two months, I will be demanding a refund on general principle.
I'd like them to be more proactive on court cases in which a law-abiding citizen that has defended himself against criminals is unjustly hounded by DAs and/or civil suits. In short, getting Castle Doctrine Law established in all states should be their top priority, because all the other gun rights mean little if some perp's family can ruin you in civil court.

Re: NRA Membership
How about a response of I was a member for over ___ years and got tried of the NRA policy of appeasement..... sent my membership card back with a letter requesting that I never be contacted again by the NRA, a request which the NRA doesn't honor.

Re: NRA Membership
I've been a memember since 1974. I may not like every thing they do or all the junk mail they send but they do help us owners.
