Default Finally made up my mind.

Hopefully the buyers remorse doesn't set it on this one, but I'm pretty psyched right now. I've been mulling things over for a while and decided to get ahead and plunk down the money for this one tonight. I think I got a really good deal considering every shop I called in the area quoted me over $1k for a new one with a 8-12 week wait. Now I just need a holster, mags, and ammo.

Nice! Now with the extra cash saved you can buy the ammo & accessories.

I've never been a fan of Kimbers (though I've never shot one), but If I were to get one... I think that'd be my choice. Nice find.

Oh yea, I got a Kimber myself ...SIS CUSTOM RL
You love it & I'll warn you a head of time there's
a lot Kimber haters but I don't care what the make
you going to have bad ones that's life.
But Kimber, is A1 top Notch. People will also tell you
the mags aren't any good but the New one's KimPro Tac-Mag
are as good as any made.

Year's ago Kimber did have some mag problem's way back but
they went back to the drawing board & successfully
    created a winner.

The only thing I don't care for the short barrel
I prefer the 5in, everyone says the full size is
harder to conceal but the Tactical Pro II, 45, pistol is only 1in.
shorter than a full. Hell any MAN should know
how to conceal an extra in. well if they don't
..that's sad ain't it? And you landed a hell
of a good deal..I'm kidding it was not a good deal
It was a Great deal. If I'm not mistaken new is about
$1300 MSRP so you do real good grasshopper.

+1 for finding yourself a GREAT DEAL on that Kimber!

Friend of mine bought one of these (or at least a very similar Kimber) a few years ago. VERY accurate pistol!

Only problem he was having was hollow-point ammo. The Winchester Ranger SXT ammo he got for free from his department didn't seem to feed well. Not sure if he ever had it gunsmithed to handle the problem, but he traded a Sig P220 in .45, along with 5 spare mags and a lot of other accessories to get his hands on his.

Hope you enjoy it. Let us know when you get it and take her out to the range!

Congrats, Hamburgboy. Seems like you've really got the itch. According to your signature line, thats your third handgun, in just a few months, right? Keep up the good work!!

Actually, the Sig is being sold to fund this purchase, but if you ask my wife she'll definitely say I've got the itch. I need to update my sig with my long gun stuff as well.

Thanks for the nice words folks and I'll be sure to get a full range report and photos up once she's in my hands.
