Good ole Arlen bent over for the dems and got the pork, er I mean stimulus bill passed. This is a sad day in our history.

This thing could still be killed. They are going to have to take this to a committee of house and senate members that will have to work out a bill that will pass both houses. That means that there will be at least two more votes BEFORE Obama gets it on his desk. We can stop this thing, keep up the pressure.

unbelievable, if people only looked at history instead of their own personal agenda, they would find that there has NEVER been a stimulus bill in history that has worked.

Just saw an interview with Pelosi on CNN and she said that she expects to have the final bill on Osamas desk by the end of the week.

its like 1500+ pages or something like that.

Overall its a disaster waiting to happen and yeah it passed but now the Senate and House need to reconcile their bills, this will most likely mean the thing will grow even larger but its already been shown that they have the votes... there is no way it won't pass.

So we have stimulus passing (socializing many many things in this bill), a bad bank plan (that's another $1 trillion kids, for anyone keeping track in just two weeks the new administration is racking up $2 trillion in spending

), we are not going to increase our domestic supply of oil, and now we are worrying about how a made up crisis (and yes I mean totaly fabricated) crisis changing the habitats of fucking birds. Oh yeah and in one more instance where the government has a quasi private entity screwing us again.

Pass the astro-glide, please.
