I'm not familar with specific Georgia laws but yes 18 is the magic number.

There may be someone who is familar with specific Georgia law who may be a greater help than I, everything I answer is based on personal preferance and PA requirements.

and do you have to have a certain type of license or anything to get one no license needed to purchase or own a long-gun un GA

n now about the pistol grip mossberg. can you put a mag on the gun. if so what is the biggest one you can put on. there are tubular magazine extensions for the mossberg. they require changing out the front support or modifying it. the the largest I've seen is an additional 3 or 4 shots on top of the existing 5+1 with 2.75" or 4+1 with 3.00" shells.

amd do you have to be 21 to buy the pistol grip mossberg for the pistol grip only shotgun from the factory - yes, you have to be 21

i will be appreciate all the help i can get.

My answers are in RED above.

You have to be 21 to buy a pistol grip only shotgun.

I think your going to be dissapointed in your search for either of these guns. 6 months ago you could have probably scored both for around $700, now your looking at $500-600 just for a WASR (factoring shipping and transfers and such) and probably close to $400 for the PGO Mossberg.

Having said that, I recommend you avoid the PGO shotguns and buy a full stock version, which you can convert later on to whatever you like. Look for an older 590 as it will already be HiCap (8+1) and will have lots of cool and soon to be banned features. A used gun will also cycle better and youll get it cheaper and wont have to fret over the bumps you put on it.

Around here you can still pick up a used Mossy 500 in decent shape for $200 or so depending on various factors. Just go out and look for the out of the way shops and ask around a bit. Doing this will score you a nice Shotty for a good price.

The AK will be tough to find and will be expensive.

The only thing that I could add is ... good luck finding an AK for under $400, unless you can find one used or someone selling theirs that have been living under a rock (in gun terms).
